EXECUTIVE PASTOR, LADY ANGELA WHITTLEY

Executive Pastor, Lady Angela Whittley

First Lady, Angela Marie Thigpen Whittley, fondly referred to by her husband as “Lady Ann”, was born October 25, 1967. She was born and reared in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a graduate of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School, Class of 1985.

 

In September 1981, at the age 14 under the leadership of the late Bishop David Coleman, she chose to make Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior and was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and received the prophecy that God would call her to the Evangelistic field. She went through the ministry ranks as a Deaconess, Aspiring Missionary, Evangelist-Missionary, licensed Evangelist, Minister, and Elder.  She served in various areas of ministry to include State Secretary to the Office of the Bishop, State Marshal of the Women’s Department, Evangelistic Ministry, Altar Ministry, Bible Study Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Church Executive Administrative Assistant, and Protocol Ministry of the State Supervisor of Women, Women’s Ministry Leader, and Youth Ministry Leader.   

She is a gifted and anointed speaker, teacher and writer, and is faithful to the call of God on her life.  She and her family served at Rock Temple COGIC of Clarksville, TN under the leadership of Bishop Jesse Lee Gold for seventeen years.

In September 2012, duty called and the military moved their family to Fort Carson, Colorado and in March 2013 – March 2016 she served in the eldership, altar ministry, Women of the Word (WOW) ministry at the Christian House of Prayer in Colorado Springs, CO, under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Charles Tedder and First Lady Allison Tedder. 

Lady Whittley is anointed to preach and teach the gospel, and humbly serves as an example and ensample to women everywhere.  This Proverbs 31 Woman, “When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly.  Her sons Dorian, Lorenzo and Dominique respect and bless her; and her husband joins in with words of praise:” She is the ministry's co-founder and Executive Pastor and serves humbly and faithfully beside her husband, Pastor Whittley in the work of ministry at the Christian House of Praise.

 

She holds a Bachelor and Master of Theology degree from the Williams, Clemons, Davis Bible College, is a 2014 graduate of the Sonship School of The Firstborn, and earned a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University.
