ABOUT US
Christian House of Praise is a place of worship, where we come to give God glory, honor and praise. We believe that the bible is given by inspiration of God and has supreme authority in our lives. We believe that the words of the bible are spirit and life and it has relevance to us today. We are prepared listeners who come to hear and obey what the Spirit has to say to the church through the man of God.
We believe that every member is an important part of the church body and has to do his part in order to feel a part.
Our ministry assignment at Christian House of Praise Ministries is to focus on building big people and not building a big church. We are a church for all people and believe in ministering to the family, as well as singles in every area of their lives.
Christian House of Praise mission is to bring purpose and promise into the hearts of believers, as well as hope and help naturally and spiritually to the lost sinner and those in need. Our mandate first and foremost is to preach the good news of the kingdom of God, accompanied by the Holy Spirit confirming the word with miracles signs and wonders. The teaching is with wisdom, authority, revelation and power. According to Isaiah 50:4, “The lord God has given me a tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary”. Our ministry assignment at Christian House of Praise is to take individuals and families to the Next Level in God and in life.
2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all with open face beholding as a glass the glory of the lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the lord”. In this end time dispensation God has taken Pastors L.T. & Angela Whittley's life experiences and years of ministry, in order to embrace the latter end time move of God that takes His people to a higher dimension into the Next Level of Faith, Relationship and ultimately arriving to the highest level the Kingdom of Heaven.
OUR VISION & VISION STATEMENT
The overall vision of the ministry is to reach the world with the gospel by teaching and preaching the living Word of God and sharing the unfailing love of God .
Our main focus is two-fold:

First, we desire to have a church which will provide ministerial support and enrichment for the family and the community.

Our second focus is to better equip and train the people of God as ministers to go forth, live, proclaim, and demonstrate the love and ministry of Jesus Christ, so that souls will be saved and won to the Kingdom of God.

OUR LEADERSHIP
Sr. Pastor L.T. Whittley
Pastor LT Whittley Jr. was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 9, 1969. He graduated Cairo High School, in Cairo, Illinois in 1987. On August 15, 1987 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served 29 years, retiring honorably as Brigade First Sergeant on September 1, 2016.
Executive Pastor Angela Whittley
First Lady, Angela Marie Thigpen Whittley, fondly referred to by her husband as “Lady Ann”, was born October 25, 1967. She was born and reared in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a graduate of Walter L. Cohen Senior High School, Class of 1985.
