On Our Hearts
These commandments . . . are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children(Deuteronomy 6:6–7). Pray everyday, read scripture daily and encourage your children to do this also. Why is this important? It keeps the word in your hearts and not just in your head. This way when we face life’s ups as well as it’s downs, then you will have a reservoir to draw from that will help you, and encourage you to be thankful and grateful in all situations. Each new day, we too can commit to allowing Scripture to guide our hearts and minds as we live in gratitude to God.
